The Common Ground Journal (CGJ) publishes annually starting October 1st of the current year and ending September 30th of the following year.

Unlike a traditional journal issue completed in full at the time it is released, the CGJ adds articles to an open volume throughout the publishing year. This approach makes it possible to address current topics and other subjects as quickly as possible. At the end of the publishing year the volume is then considered completed to make way for the next volume.
